Candi Wilson
Paralegal, Board Certified Family Law
With more than twenty-one years of experience in family law, Candi Wilson brings both professional expertise and personal insight to every case she handles. Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2008, Candi has been a trusted advocate for families across Central Texas.
A native Austinite who made Bastrop County her home in 1992, Candi has deep roots in the community she serves. Her own life experiences, including a twenty-five-year marriage and divorce in 2019, give her a unique ability to empathize with clients navigating difficult transitions. She is the proud mother of two children and a bonus daughter who still lovingly calls her “Mom.” She continues to maintain a positive co-parenting relationship, which allows her to connect with clients not just as a legal advocate, but as someone who truly understands the emotional and practical challenges of divorce.
Candi has been a member of the State Bar of Texas since 1994 and has actively participated in various paralegal associations throughout her career. Her commitment to service extends beyond the courtroom: she was a longtime member of a Relay for Life team benefiting the American Cancer Society, which raised more funds than any other team in the region thanks to the generosity of Bastrop County residents. Today, that same team continues to support local families in need through grassroots fundraising efforts.
Outside of work, Candi is a passionate car enthusiast and enjoys events with her car club. She also loves traveling, live music, and spending quality time with her family and grandchildren.
